Hypnotherapy To Rediscover Your Confidence & Self Esteem

I love working with people to help them rediscover their confidence & self esteem. The positive impact of this on a person's life is tremendous & it's so rewarding to see clients reclaim their confidence & feel both accepting & loving of the person they are. And you deserve that too.

Our confidence can be knocked in so many ways over the course of our lives & it can feel like there's no way back to the people we used to be. Or you may feel that you've never had the confidence you'd like & would love to experience living your life from a place of good self esteem.

In one way or another, in pretty much every session I do there's an element of reconnecting people with their confidence & accepting & embracing all parts of themselves. Sometimes this is in relation to a specific thing or event & other times it's more of a general feeling of confidence.

We live in a society (particularly in the UK) where being self deprecating about ourselves is seen as the right way. We grow up hearing phrases like "don't get too big for your boots/don't get a big head". If we're happy & excited to share something as a child we're often told we're show offs...like it's some bad thing to show someone something.

We're conditioned in so many ways to hide parts of ourselves. We can feel we have to hide these parts from everyone & can feel deep shame within ourselves that these parts even exist. The impact of this is huge as we are whole people & to deny parts of ourselves or feel deep shame about them makes us rejection ourselves time & time again.

​

These feelings can vary from day to day but we can find ourselves coming back to the same thought patterns & criticisms of ourselves time & time again. For some people this might be in relation to something specific, like an upcoming event, however for others this inner critic can pass judgement on just about everything we do and that can be so draining

Other times we can feel we're not enough, like there's something missing in us & like we're the only ones. It's really hard to carry these feelings & very isolating. 

But I want you to know that things can be so different & this is one of the areas I most love working with people on. We can work carefully & gently together to explore your feelings around this, the barriers you've felt in the past if that's relevant & then most importantly how you would like to feel in the future.

One of the things I’m most passionate about is supporting my clients to overcome feelings that they aren’t enough & to help them reach a place where they accept & love themselves. To some this can sound a bit cheesy, but imagine if you were your own best friend. Imagine if you cheered yourself on rather than telling yourself you weren't good enough. Imagine if you comforted yourself on bad days rather than hated yourself.

Hypnosis can also be an amazing way to prepare yourself for an event that you are feeling nervous, apprehensive or totally scared by!

 

Examples of this are things like driving tests (or even starting lessons), public speaking engagements, being more visible in your work, starting a new job or university, social events or solo trips abroad, plus many more.
